Position available

Alright guys,

I guess it's time to bite the bullet and put this out in the universe.  I think it's time to start looking for a working student.  Pretty much, you'd be working in the coolest place on earth (the barn), you'd smell bad a lot of the time (but it wouldn't matter because everyone else smells too!), you'd work super hard, and have the time of you're life! Here are the nitty-gritty details:

Duties include:
Feeding
General Care
Hacking/Exercising/Riding
Traveling to groom at shows

Work would be 5-6 days a week, with some possible time allowed for candidates also attending school (NCSU is close), or working a (very) part-time job.

Requirements:
Must be 18 years old
Have reliable transportation
Be dependable and hard working

In exchange for:
Board for one horse
Housing on site to the right candidate
Lessons/training
Possible pay for right candidate.

The details of the position will be worked out on an individual basis, but basically our barn and training program is a fun, relaxed atmosphere with focus on correct horsemanship and horse care.  We have eventers, jumpers, dressage horses and greenies in the program.  Candidates will receive first hand experience on all aspects of running a training/instruction program.

Please email me at cassidy.sitton@gmail.com for more information.  Please include a resume outlining your horse experience and a bit of information about yourself.
